Ownership of Sets

All LEGO® sets, parts, instructions, packaging, and related materials provided to Members remain the sole property of The Big Brick Box at all times. Membership grants temporary possession only and does not convey ownership, title, or any ownership interest.

Bailment Relationship

All rentals constitute a bailment for mutual benefit. Members acknowledge a duty of reasonable care and agree to return all items in substantially the same condition, normal wear excepted.

Payment Authorization

By enrolling, the Member authorizes The Big Brick Box to charge the payment method on file for:

• Monthly or annual membership fees
• Unreturned, damaged, or missing items
• Replacement costs, administrative fees, and recovery costs
• Chargeback or collection-related expenses

Continued Authorization

This authorization survives cancellation, suspension, termination, or expiration of the membership until all outstanding obligations are satisfied.

Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation of membership does not relieve the Member of responsibility for any LEGO sets currently in their possession. All items must be returned in accordance with return instructions provided by The Big Brick Box.

Cancellation While in Possession

If a Member cancels while in possession of LEGO sets, the membership will be considered inactive but unresolved until all items are returned and inspected.

Unreturned Items

Any LEGO set or part not returned within 10 days of a return request, cancellation, suspension, or payment failure will be deemed unreturned property.

Replacement Charges

Unreturned property may be charged at full replacement value, determined at The Big Brick Box's discretion, including:

• Current market value (including retired or rare status)
• Administrative and processing fees
• Shipping and recovery costs

Chargeback Policy

Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal while retaining possession of LEGO sets constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.

Administrative Fees

The Big Brick Box reserves the right to assess a chargeback handling fee (e.g., $50–$150) to cover investigation, documentation, and processing costs.

Evidence Submission

The Member agrees that shipment records, tracking confirmations, photographs, inventory logs, and account activity constitute valid evidence in any dispute.

Fraudulent Activity

Fraud includes, but is not limited to:

• Cancelling or blocking a payment method after shipment
• Providing false identity or address information
• Failing to return items after cancellation or nonpayment
• Disassembling sets for resale or part harvesting
• Repeated or excessive missing parts beyond reasonable wear

Consequences

The Big Brick Box may immediately:

• Suspend or terminate the account
• Charge replacement and recovery costs
• Report theft to law enforcement where appropriate
• Refer the account to collections

Inspection Rights

All returned items are subject to inspection. Missing or damaged parts beyond reasonable wear may result in additional charges.

Reasonable Wear

Reasonable wear includes minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal assembly and disassembly. It does not include missing parts, broken elements, altered components, or substituted pieces.
